I went on a lovely snowshoe this weekend with friends.  We went up to Gatineau Park and basically hiked in snowshoes, because there wasn't actually snow enough to need them.  But the grippy bit on the bottom of the snowshoes did help when climbing the icy hills.  It was quite challenging, I have to say.  I don't remember the last time I was on ( Read more... )

A lot of my time is taken up by bringing up my pup, making sure she's been exercised, fed, bathroomed, loved.  Also for my cat, although I have to say she's had to make do with less.  She seems fine with it, mostly.  My mom doesn't trust her though, and repeatedly warns me that when I have babies, I'll have to watch my jealous cat and make sure she ( Read more... )

The last two weeks have been a lesson in decrepitude for me.
